Required Information

• Device information: device model, OS version, app version
• Anonymous user identifier (Firebase UID)
• App usage statistics: screen views, feature usage

Optional Information

• Phone number (if phone number verification is selected)
• Name and profile photo (if profile is set up)
• Location data (if location-based search is used)
• Business information (for wholesaler/retailer accounts)
• Product listing data: product name, price, product images
• Chat messages and images

2. How We Use Your Information

• Service provision: delivering the farm produce direct trade platform
• User authentication: verifying identity via phone number
• Chat service: enabling real-time communication between buyers and sellers
• Location-based services: showing nearby products
• Notification service: sending push notifications for transactions
• Analytics: understanding usage patterns to improve the service
• Fraud prevention: detecting and preventing misuse

3. Data Retention

• User account data: deleted immediately upon account deletion request
• Chat messages: deleted from server upon account deletion
• Product listings: deleted upon seller account deletion
• Analytics data: retained per Firebase Analytics policy (up to 14 months)
• Transaction-related records: retained up to 5 years per applicable law

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

Firebase (Google)

• Data shared: device info, user data, chat messages
• Purpose: cloud data storage, authentication, push notifications, analytics
• Retention: per Firebase policies

Google Cloud Storage

• Data shared: profile images, product images, chat images
• Purpose: file storage and delivery
• Retention: until account deletion

5. Data Deletion

• Electronic files: permanently deleted using irrecoverable methods
• Firestore data: automatically deleted via Cloud Functions upon account deletion
• Storage files: automatically deleted upon account deletion

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your data (account deletion feature available in-app)
• Restrict processing of your data

7. Location Data

Location data is only collected with your explicit consent and is used solely for providing location-based search features.
